Lia is an Aesthetician, Oncology Skincare Therapist and Lash Artist. She graduated from Elaine Sterling Institute of Aesthetics in 2011, and has been serving clients at Medical Spas including Shape Medical Wellness Center, a premier medical spa in Buckhead, Georgia, and Las Vegas Dermatology. 

 

Lia is native Indonesian, she became passionate about skincare in her youth while conquering her own struggles with keloids, hyper- and hypo-pigmentation. She has dedicated her career to understanding, managing and maintaining skincare. Lia keeps abreast of emerging technologies and applies them to help clients reach their beauty goals while achieving and maintain healthy, beautiful skin.

She received her certification of Oncology Skin Therapy from The Skincare Therapy Institute, Corp., in 2014 when she first opened Belia. Lia volunteers for American Cancer Society’s Look Good Feel Better program, sharing her professional insight with current and former cancer patients. Because she believes comfort and relaxation will help ease the painful burden of fighting cancer she offers each patient at Belia a complimentary Oncology Facial. 

Lia and her team are accredited by the Nevada State Board of Cosmetology. They teach a variety of advanced esthetics courses. The Belia team provides specialized training tailored to the unique skincare needs of individuals who are under the care of a medical doctor and undergoing treatment for cancer. Lia is passionate about providing relevant, outstanding, and leading edge continuing education for aestheticians, cosmetologists, as well as instructors.  She strongly believes her training will contribute immensely to the industry, in terms of overall quality, as well as delivering compassionate care to those with special and/or unique needs.
 
Lia was nominated for the “2015 Woman Distinction Award” from NAWBO (National Association Women Business Owners). She was featured on NBC News’ “Local Heroes" segment, Fox5’s “Shining Star” segment, Channel 13 “The Morning Blend”, Action 13 News "New Tonight" and Channel 3's "Wake Up with the CBS Warner Bros." She was honored for “Ordinary People Extra Ordinary Measures” from the Nevada Chapter Community Association Institute. Recently Lia received an award for “The Dean’s List 2018” Marquee Las Vegas Cosmopolitan by Tao Group.
 
​The Belia Skin and Beauty Med Spa enables Lia to fulfil two goals: her passion for excellent skincare and her compassion for unfortunate children and adults with serious skin conditions.

She donates and volunteers within the Las Vegas community and among non-profit organizations such as Spread the Word Nevada - Changing Lives, One Book at a Time, Safe Nest - Shelter for domestic crisis, Best Buddy Gala - Children with Special Needs, Grant a Gift Autism Foundation, Injured Police Officer's Fund, Little Black Dress - Dress for Success Gala of Southern Nevada, and The Breast Center at Sunrise Hospital, among others.
