What is Laser Skin Resurfacing?
Laser Skin Resurfacing is a cosmetic procedure uses laser technology to improve the appearance of skin and promotes anti-aging.

Erbium YAG (Er:YAG):

lasers are highly precise and can be used to target specific areas of the skin with precision. This allow for controlled removal of the outer layers of damaged or aging skin, resulting in more predictable outcomes. Unlike IPL, Er:YAG is safe to treat Fitzpatrick skin type V and VI for various skin concerns such as hyperpigmentation, Melasma, sun spots and age spots.

Multiple treatment sessions may be required to achieve optimal results. The benefits of Er;YAG skin resurfacing can be long-lasting with proper skincare maintenance and sun protection.

Er:YAG Skin Resurfacing is used to treat the following conditions:

  • Improvement of Skin Tone and Texture: effectively target various skin concerns such as sun damage, age spots, freckles, rosacea, and uneven pigmentation. It helps to even out skin tone and improve overall texture, resulting in smoother and more radiant skin.

  • Reduction of Melasma/ Age Spots/ Sun Spots: Prolonged sun exposure can lead to sunspots, pigmentation irregularities, and freckles. It helps reduce the appearance of brown spots by targeting the melanin in the skin, breaking down pigmented cells and promoting their natural removal.

  • Stimulation of Collagen Production: Stimulates the production of collagen, a protein responsible for maintaining skin elasticity and firmness. This helps to improve skin laxity, reduce fine lines, and enhance overall skin tightness, resulting in a more youthful appearance.

  • Treatment of Acne and Acne Scars: It improves the appearance of acne scars by promoting collagen remodeling and skin regeneration.

  • Shrinks Large Pores (without the need for topical products that dry out skin).
  • Improve Hyperpigmentation (darker skin patches caused by an excess of melanin, the brown pigment that produces normal skin color.

  • Fitzpatrick skin Type I-VI.
